This is Zac the astronaut in space and I have a few things to tell you about my journey in space and describe things from Earth. The moon rotates on an axis and revolves around a larger object, such as Earth. The moon revolves and rotates are equal so we see the same side of the moon every time. The shape of the sunlit portion of the moon that we see are called phases. Phases are important to us. The phases happened for about three and half days. I have notice that each moon phase has some type of effect on the earth. Like the gravity from the moons pulls on the ocean and causes high tides and low tides. The tides are good in Hawaii and Florida because they make it where people can surf. Low tides are really hard to surf because look at the name low tides,so they would be really low and hard to surf. That’s somethings about how the moon and it’s phases effect the oceans. Nebulae is where the stars are born and that’s when the star is at it’s coldest point. A super nova is when the star is at it’s hottest point. When stars in a group together with similar characteristic that are located near each other is called a star cluster. Where we live there are 8 planets in our solar system and there’s 4 inner planets and 4 outer planets. A galaxy is a very large group of stars and other matter held together by gravity. I’ve seen the 4 inner planets and the 4 outer planets in our galaxy and they are very interesting to watch orbit around the Earth. How Earth spins on it’s axis and how they revolve around the sun. I’ve seen stars that are really small and stars that are really big and make the sun look small. So these are some of the things I’ve seen on Earth from space and things from space I’ve seen and learned.
